This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may not do with BoltVeil. It is part of our Terms of Service and covers the VPN, the residential proxies, the rewards program, the website and our apps. We keep it short and specific so that nobody is surprised.
1. No fraud, ever
You may not use BoltVeil, including the VPN and the residential proxies, to deceive or defraud anyone. In particular:
- Offerwall, survey and rewards fraud: using the VPN, the proxies or any other trick to fake your location or identity on offerwalls, paid surveys, cashback sites or other reward sites, including the Earn section of BoltVeil.
- Ad fraud: generating fake or rule-breaking ad impressions, clicks, installs, leads or sign-ups.
- Multi-accounting and bonus abuse: opening or running more than one BoltVeil account, or several accounts on another service, to collect sign-up bonuses, invite rewards, trials, promotions or rewards more than once.
- Payment fraud: paying with stolen cards or accounts, or with someone else's payment method without permission.
- Evading bans to defraud: getting around a ban, block or limit on another service in order to cheat it, for example to return to a reward site that closed your account.
- Account takeover: credential stuffing, password spraying or accessing any account that is not yours.
2. Our rewards program
- One account per person.
- Invite real people. Inviting yourself, or accounts you control, is not allowed.
- Complete offers in the Earn section from your real location, with the VPN and proxies switched off.
- Do not use bots, scripts, emulators or other automation to earn Bolts.
We may reverse Bolts and remove premium time obtained by breaking these rules, and close the accounts involved.
3. Harmful and illegal activity
You may not use BoltVeil to:
- send spam or other unsolicited bulk messages, or run phishing;
- attack, scan, probe or overload systems you do not own or have permission to test, including denial-of-service attacks;
- spread malware, run botnets or control devices that are not yours;
- scrape or collect data in ways that break the law or other people's rights, such as collecting personal data without a legal basis;
- create, store or share child sexual abuse material. We report it to the relevant authorities;
- distribute pirated software, films, music, books or other content you have no right to share;
- harass, threaten or stalk anyone, or incite violence;
- break the law of the country you are in, or of the country where the people or systems you affect are.
4. Residential proxies: extra rules
- Use the proxies only for legitimate purposes, such as monitoring public prices, verifying your own ads, testing your own sites and apps in other countries, checking search rankings and research.
- Do not use them to sign in to accounts that are not yours, to create accounts in bulk, or to run bots that get around a site's purchase limits.
- Keep request rates reasonable, and stop when a site asks you to.
- Our proxy partner has its own rules and may block traffic or destinations to protect its network.
5. Protecting the service
- Your plan is for you and the people in your household, within its device limit. Do not sell, rent or give access to anyone else, and do not publish your configuration files or credentials.
- Do not run a public proxy, relay or VPN service through BoltVeil, or use it in any way that disrupts the service for other users.
- Do not try to break into, reverse engineer or get around the security of our systems or our partners' networks. If you find a vulnerability, please tell us at support@boltveil.com.
6. What happens if you break this policy
- Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, limit features, reverse Bolts or premium time obtained through abuse, suspend or close your account, and stop you from opening new ones.
- Fraud, attacks and anything involving the abuse of children lead to immediate suspension without refund.
- We may share the information we hold with an affected partner, such as an advertiser or offerwall, and with authorities, where the law requires or allows it.
We do not monitor what you do through the VPN, and we could not: we keep no activity logs (see our No-logs Policy). We act on what we can see, such as account, payment and reward data, abuse reports, and reports from our network partners.
7. Reporting abuse
Write to support@boltveil.com with as much detail as you can, such as the time, the IP address involved and what happened. We look at every report.
